Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan, Believers Church Theological Seminary

Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan, Metropolitan of Believers Eastern Church, has been involved in training and discipling young people for more than 40 years. His vision for Believers Church Theological Seminary is to produce Christian leaders with strong character who will lead churches according to biblical principles and show the love of Christ in practical ways.

“Our desire,” says Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan, “is to see men and women come to know the Lord Jesus fully and intimately through the study of God’s Word. This, we believe, will result in a genuine revolution of love in this generation. We want to be a channel through which this reality will come to pass.”

Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan‘s desire to help the poor and underprivileged and bring them into the mainstream has inspired Believers Church’s many social initiatives. Bridge of Hope, one of the many humanitarian projects initiated by Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan, is helping tens of thousands of underprivileged children get education and give them hope of a better future. Metropolitan, Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan’s another initiative named Asha Grih provides shelter and rehabilitation to homeless and street children.

Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan believes in quality health care for quality living and this has resulted in opening medical centers and hospitals which provide medical care to the community at large.  Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan‘s vision is that these centers will provide quality holistic healthcare in an environment where patients can find both healing and wholeness.

Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan has also been bringing hope and healing to families for more than 30 years through television, radio, and literature.
