After watching Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan hoist the national flag on 15th August, Believers Church Theological Seminary students participated in community social work in honor of Independence Day.
Knowing that the students take time to clean public places each year, some local government officials specially requested the seminary to clean Thiruvalla registrar office. After splitting into small groups, one team visited this office and thoroughly cleaned the building.
Other groups enthusiastically cleaned Varicad Municipality Health Care Centre, Thiruvalla Revenue Tower and roadside areas. They also repaired local pathways. The students enjoyed this opportunity to serve their community.
BCTS inspires a love for community and nation in its students, challenging them to make a difference through social work and other service projects.
